Sick and tired of going to life drawing classes where the models are ordinary and plain? Ever wanted to attend a life drawing class but feel like you wont “fit in”? Well we got a class for you!
Sacred Life Drawing Session will feature life figure models that put an “edge” into figure drawing classes. Fetish, Burlesque, Little People, Tall people, Skinny People, and Large people.
Sacred Life Drawing Sessions will be held every Tuesday, starting August 25th from 7pm to 9pm at NYC‘s Sacred Tattoo located at 424 Broadway (Between Canal & Howard). These classes will be open to anyone 18 & over looking to practice and further their artistic ability. The classes are normally non-instructional though the first few sessions we will have an instructor on hand. The model will cover both short and long poses.
Classes will be $15.00. Studio will provide you with one figure model per session and a space to work in. Artists are required to bring their own art materials (Charcoals, pencils, Sketch Pad, etc…)

The ink she's talking about in the end is the brand InfinitInk that we carry.

For the past few months, Sacred Tattoo has been offering InfinitInk to it's customers who want to get a tattoo but have always been "on the fence" for one reason or another. Some people are scared of the idea that a tattoo is permanent. Other people might be afraid of not knowing exactly what the ink is made of. For this reason, we at Sacred Tattoo are proud to offer this special brand of ink to our customers.


Getting tattooed with InfinitInk looks and feels exactly like getting tattooed with traditional ink. The main benefit of getting tattooed with infinitInk is that if you ever choose to have it removed via laser, its easily removed. Now getting your significant others name tattooed might not be such a bad idea after all *Insert laughter here*. There is an additional fee when getting tattooed with this ink. At the moment, black and red are the only colors available.

If you're planning to stop by the studio from now until June 13th please excuse our appearance. Our studio is undergoing a nice "face lift" so that your experience at Sacred can be even more memorable. Our hours will still remain the same. Noon to 8pm daily.

So this past week has been one wild ride here at Sacred Tattoo. Here's just a short recap of what's been going on around the shop.

This past weekend was the NYC Tattoo convention. Man. I gotta tell you. All the guys here really rocked the house. I'm sure pics from the show will soon follow.
We also had guest artist's Baba from Vintage Tattoo, Shanghai Kate, and Diau-An from Taiwan here cranking out some awesome tattoos. Kate will be returning in about a week so if you're looking to get something done, contact our studio for more info.

FYI: Did you know that if you or your friend's getting tattooed at the shop you can have a nice cup of espresso, latte, or cappuccino? On us! Thanks to our friends at the Nespresso store we've been fully outfitted with some amazing coffee. Come in and grab yourself a cup the next time you come in for a consultation or are getting tattooed.

As some of you may know, the NYC Tattoo convention brings some of the best tattoo artists into New York for only 3 short days. Some of those artists choose to stay a little longer so that more people have the opportunity to get tattooed outside of the convention setting.
