David will draw the fabulous Megan Massacre for 6 hours in charcoal. This is a full discussion about his thought processes and drawing technique as he draws a realistic portrait.
You’re welcome to bring a small drawing pad but please note that this is a demo on David’s techniques.
The demo is $40.00, cash, paid in person the day of the class. Seating is limited. RSVP IS A MUST! Please reply with your first and last name and contact phone number in order to be put on the list. Please email Kevin@SacredGalleryNYC.com
Profits from this demo will go directly to the “Kassan Foundation.” Info on the foundation’s mission statement can be seen below.
The aim of the Kassan Foundation is to nurture talent within individuals by offering financial support to underprivileged Visual Artists and Musicians. Each year the foundation offers two grants; one to a promising representational artist and one to a promising musician in order to boost their career and accelerate their artistic growth. Work helped to be produced with grant funding will be documented in different formats, and the documentation will be added to the Kassan Foundation Library. Our intention is to enable such individuals to reach their potential by alleviating some of the pressures of financial strain. In this way the individual will have the breathing room to develop his/her own personal project and unique voice, without focusing on commercial demand. The grant would assist with potential production and material costs, travel and further education
If you would like to pre-pay in advance, please stop by Sacred NYC at 424 Broadway 2nd Floor (Between Canal and Howard) before the event.
